Welcome. I’m Dana Ayers, aka “DC Dana.” I write about my adventures in work, fitness, and life in general. Content here is usually lighthearted, often overly honest, and almost always ridiculous.

I am the author of Confessions on an Unlikely Runner, which connected to me lovely readers around the world. Many of those readers conveyed they felt like impostors trying to run because they didn't fit the runner mold.

The more I talked with people, the more I realized how many of us feel that way in life in general, and how much it can stop us from trying anything new. I realized:

There are so many people out there who are talking themselves out of things they secretly want to do.

I hope my stories inspire you to go for something unlikely. If nothing else, you can laugh at me while I do, over and over again.
